The previous war still shapes our environment. What happens to the city when most of its population get's killed or displaced within just few years. How much time does it take to recover?
After WWII city spaces of Lviv were not only robbed and ruined, they had to be "desacralised". Churches were turned into warehouses, theaters — into gyms, apartments got occupied by people who never had money or knowledge to properly maintain them.

Some of these interiors will be carefully restored. Most — fall apart and get replaced. But in both cases the current image will disappear.
These spaces are my everyday environment. I often judge them, make fun, get depressed. Sometimes I even try to see them as an inevitable result of historical circumstances.
But while being in a better mood, I adopt them.
