Commission for UNBROKEN — a national rehabilitation initiative and medical ecosystem built to help people affected by the war in Ukraine — especially those who have been wounded, lost limbs, or suffered trauma.
Produced for GENS, a program within the framework of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. The workshop and accompanying publication Fragility, Body, Architecture explore how urban intelligence is being reshaped through the lens of multidisciplinary post-traumatic rehabilitation systems. It is focuses on prosthetic infrastructure using the city of Lviv as a case study — it being a hub for reconstructive surgery and the adaptation of war-wounded bodies.
