Due to the russian invasion, a large number of people fled the east of Ukraine and moved as far west as possible. One of the places that experienced a huge inflow of population is Lviv, the largest city in western Ukraine.
Housing prices instantly grew several-fold, whole new districts were built in just a few years, and the medieval city center's road network got stuck in constant traffic jams. The struggle for a parking spot became a constant occurrence.
People started installing makeshift constructions to keep a place open for their personal car, a delivery truck, or even an ambulance to be able to stop. Above is a document of this movement.
